The year 1977 saw a new kind of development and I spent a lot of time in the service of the Lord, seeking His divine guidance to take along His ministry on the right track. It was then that the LORD spoke to me in a dream, one that saw Him ministering to children. While I was sharing the word of God, the spirit of the Lord was descending upon children, each of who accepted Him as their personal saviour. This in turn made me work among children.

In 1987 we opened Calvary Children’s Home, which as on now plays host to over 150 children, each of whom are provided with food, clothing, shelter, education and spiritual nourishment. In addition to this, seven women work full time at our home and with their aid; we raised over 1000 children so far.

‘Children are the Nation’s future hope’ goes the saying, they need proper, adequate and sound investment in the form of education and nourishment. They hold the key to driving the nation’s hope of becoming a self-sufficient and vibrant one. Inspired by the said ideal, we opened an educational academy in the year 1993 with the objective of making education possible to tribals living in interior remote areas.

We feel proud to say that our firm determination has resulted in over 220 new students in Mulugu and from surrounding villages to get a taste of good education. Though ours is a Public school, the teachers are all Christians and the students are learning Bible verses and Christian songs.
